Draft for founder and legal review

This is not a live customer agreement. Paid checkout is not active. Final billing, privacy and refund policies, VAT confirmation and legal review are required before launch.

1. About these billing terms

These Subscription and Billing Terms explain how paid SuccessPilot.ai memberships are charged, renewed, changed and cancelled. They sit alongside our Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy. If anything here conflicts with a more favourable promise made to you at checkout, the checkout promise applies.

This is a review draft. Paid checkout is not currently active, so nothing here authorises a charge today. It describes the billing service we intend to provide at launch.

2. Plans and prices

Launch plans are Starter Builder at US$9.97 per month or US$18 every three months, and Pro Builder at US$19.97 per month or US$36 every three months. The three-month prices work out at US$6 and US$12 per month respectively — those are monthly equivalents for comparison, not amounts charged each month. There is no annual plan.

The features included in each plan are shown on the pricing page and confirmed at checkout before you pay. Prices are in US dollars. Your bank or card provider may apply its own currency-conversion rate or fee, which we do not control.

We are registered for UK VAT under registration number GB423727011. Whether VAT applies, and at what rate, depends on where you are based and whether you buy as a business. Any applicable tax is shown at checkout before you confirm your order and is included in the total you pay — never added afterwards.

3. Agreeing to recurring payments

A paid subscription is a recurring agreement. Before your first payment we will show you the plan, the full charge, the billing interval and the renewal terms, and ask for your express agreement to recurring billing. Your contract is formed when we accept your order and send a confirmation email identifying your plan, charge and billing period.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the agreed price until you cancel. We will send a receipt for each payment to your account email address.

4. When access starts

Access to your paid plan begins when your first payment is confirmed. If a payment is authorised but not completed, access may be delayed until the payment clears.

5. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we or our payment provider will normally retry it over the following days, and we will email you so you can update your payment details. We will not treat a payment-processing error caused by us as a deliberate cancellation.

If payment cannot be collected after reasonable retries, your paid access may be paused until payment is made. The exact retry schedule and any grace period will be confirmed before launch and shown in your account; we will not invent charges or penalties beyond the agreed subscription price.

6. Changing your plan

You may switch between Starter and Pro, or between monthly and three-month billing, through your account once billing is live. How and when a change takes effect — including any proportional charge or credit for time already paid — will be shown clearly before you confirm the change. We will not apply a plan change in a way that quietly removes time you have already paid for.

7. Cancelling renewal

You can cancel future renewal at any time, without a cancellation fee. We intend to provide a clear one-click cancellation action in your account with immediate confirmation. If that is ever unavailable or fails, email support@successpilot.ai and we will process it for you. We will never require a phone call, a sales conversation or a retention process to cancel.

Cancelling stops the next and subsequent renewals. Your paid access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, unless a refund or a lawful termination applies. If you cancel before a renewal but we process it late and a renewal charge is taken in error, we will refund that charge.

Cancelling renewal is different from requesting a refund, deleting your account or unsubscribing from the newsletter. Each is a separate choice and we will make the effects clear.

8. Launch pricing and price changes

Launch prices apply to subscriptions started before the new-customer price increase on 1 January 2027. If you stay continuously subscribed to your launch plan, we honour your agreed launch price for as long as that subscription continues. The January 2027 increase applies to new customers and does not raise an existing eligible subscriber's price.

If you cancel and later resubscribe, the prices available at that time apply. If we ever propose another price change for your existing subscription, we will give you clear advance notice and the chance to cancel before it takes effect. We will never retrospectively change a charge already agreed for a paid period.

9. Refunds and your statutory rights

We offer a full refund of your initial subscription payment — monthly or three-month, Starter or Pro — if you request it within 14 days of that first payment. No lesson completion, usage threshold or proof of failure is required. Later renewal payments are outside this voluntary guarantee, but your statutory rights are unaffected.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law, including statutory cooling-off, remedies for faulty or misdescribed services, and protection against unauthorised or incorrect charges. The Refund Policy explains how to request a refund and what happens to your access afterwards.

10. Our payment provider

Card and express-wallet payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay, your payment details are handled by Stripe under its own terms and privacy notice; we do not store your full card number. Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal options, where offered, are also processed through our payment provider.

A charge on your bank or card statement may appear under our company or trading name. If you do not recognise a charge, contact support@successpilot.ai before raising a dispute so we can identify and correct it quickly — though you are always free to contact your bank instead.

11. Billing questions

For any billing question — a charge you do not recognise, a failed payment, a plan change or a cancellation — email support@successpilot.ai with the email address on your account and, if possible, the date and amount of the payment. Never send your full card number by email.
