Refund Policy

Draft for founder and legal review

This is not a live customer agreement. Paid checkout is not active. Final billing, privacy and refund policies, VAT confirmation and legal review are required before launch.

1. About this policy

This Refund Policy explains our voluntary money-back guarantee, how to request a refund and what happens afterwards. It sits alongside our Terms and Conditions and Subscription and Billing Terms. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

This is a review draft. Paid checkout is not currently active, so no payments are being taken and no refunds are needed yet. It describes the refund service we intend to provide at launch.

2. Our 14-day money-back guarantee

If SuccessPilot is not right for you, we will refund your initial subscription payment in full if you ask within 14 days of that first payment. This covers every launch option: Starter monthly (US$9.97), Starter three-month (US$18), Pro monthly (US$19.97) and Pro three-month (US$36).

There are no conditions attached. You do not need to complete lessons, demonstrate that the service failed, meet a usage threshold or explain your reasons. A clear request is enough.

3. How to request a refund

Email support@successpilot.ai with the subject “Refund request”. Include the email address on your account and, if you can, the date and amount of the payment so we can identify it quickly. Never send your full card number — we will never ask for it by email.

Your request counts from the day you send it, not the day we process it, so a slow reply on our side will not push you past the 14-day window.

4. How refunds are processed

Refunds are made to your original payment method through our payment provider, Stripe. We cannot refund to a different card or account.

We will confirm and action valid refund requests promptly — our target is within a few working days. Once processed, the time the money takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider, typically 5 to 10 working days. We will tell you when we have actioned the refund so you know the remaining wait is with your bank.

5. Your access after a refund

When we refund your initial payment under the guarantee, your paid access ends and your subscription is cancelled — there are no further charges. You keep access to any free areas of the service, and your account remains unless you separately ask us to delete it.

Requesting a refund is different from cancelling renewal (which keeps your access until the end of the paid period) and from deleting your account (which removes your data). We will make the distinction clear when you contact us.

6. Renewal payments

The voluntary guarantee covers your initial payment only, not later renewals. The best way to avoid an unwanted renewal is to cancel before the renewal date — you can do this at any time, without a fee, and your access continues to the end of the paid period.

If a renewal is taken after you cancelled in time, or after a payment error on our side, we will refund that renewal charge. Separately, your statutory rights may entitle you to a refund for a renewal in some circumstances — those rights are unaffected by this policy.

7. Incorrect or unauthorised charges

If you are charged the wrong amount, charged twice, or see a charge you did not authorise, contact support@successpilot.ai straight away and we will investigate and correct it. Incorrect charges are always refunded in full — they are not subject to the 14-day window.

You are also free to contact your bank or card provider about an unauthorised charge at any time.

8. Your statutory rights

Our guarantee is in addition to, and never instead of, rights the law gives you. Depending on where you live, these may include a statutory cooling-off period for online purchases and remedies where a service is faulty, not as described or not provided with reasonable care and skill.

For UK consumers, distance-selling rules generally provide a 14-day statutory cancellation period for service contracts, subject to the legal rules that apply — including specific rules for digital content. Before any purchase we will provide the cancellation information and any model form the law requires. Using or logging into the service does not by itself waive a statutory right.

Consumers in Ireland, the EU, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United States and elsewhere may have additional mandatory protections under local law. Where those laws give you more than this policy, the law wins.
